Carter Patrick Hayden BOY!!! 7 pounds 1 oz. 20 inches long. Born at 6:12 pm July 14, 2009 . Everyone is doing great. Now living in St. Charles, Missouri, with mom (Ginger), dad (Scott) and sister Corrina. It was a long (induced) labor, beginning this morning around 7:30 or so. Scott was exhausted, but that’s nothing compared to the work Ginger did today. Corrina is extremely excited about her new brother. Papa (that’s what Grandpa Paul is called) was able to hear Carter on the phone. Exciting times for the Haydens. Love is all around. See Pics (click here)

Matthew McVicker Groebe made his first HOLE IN ONE at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Oak Lawn, holing out on the 114 yard par 3 in one shot with his 8 iron. The ball was lodged between the hole and the pin so he dutifully followed his Dad's instructions (who could not tell that the ball was in the hole) to "mark the ball". When his Dad, David Groebe, saw the ball mark inside the hole he asked Matti Mc "what is this?" Applauding spectators explained and Matt scored his first HOLE IN ONE! Congratulations and welcome to the HOLE IN ONE CLUB!
Bill Groebe celebrated his 60th Birthday at a party hosted by his wife Laura with all of his brothers and sisters and many friends. For pictures click on balloons
