We’ve been busy (as always), but we actually got a chance to take a vacation last month and went to Italy for 11 days. Cindy turned a “significant age” last year, and a friend of ours also did the same age thing, so to celebrate we went into the mid-northern part of Italy and stayed at a number of hotels and B&Bs and just traveled around, eating and drinking and seeing the sites. Very relaxing. I got to drive about 1,000 kilometers. Had a grand old time. We just got back from a week at our annual publisher’s conference, this time in Branson. Didn’t see the kids (not really all that close to St. Charles). It was work all week, but we were out of the office for a while. Trouble is, we always come back with a lot of ideas.

Health is good for both of us. We get to talk with Scott, Ginger and the kids each week via Skype. That works really well. They are doing fine. Corrina goes to preschool and excels at all she does. Carter is growing fast, and now that he walks, both Ginger and Scott are losing weight. Rob’s doing well, too, and has a new girl friend, but we haven’t had a chance to meet her yet. Who knows?
