Lauren Groebe Missouri Lawyers Weekly's list of major opinions for the second half of 2010 included two cases in the Juvenile Law category handled by Professor Tricia Harrison and her students in the Child Advocacy Clinic. The Clinic obtained reversals of delinquency judgments in both cases. Law student Lauren Groebe successfully argued one of the juvenile cases. Congratulations Lauren.

Chuck Groebe ran the
Champaign-Urban 26 mile Marathon to raise money for the Oak Lawn Rotary
Charities. He finished in five hours to a standing ovation of family and

Lilian Grace Groebe-Pillows was born February 5, 2010 weighing 6 lbs. 13 oz. and 19 in. tall. Her proud parents Stacey Groebe and Drew Pillows are very happy because she is absolutely perfect and beautiful. Charlie Blim playing for the Southwest Chicago Christian basketball team took Second Place in the "Free Throw Shoot Out Contest" at the Tinley Park Tournament. He competed against four other basketball teams!! Pretty amazing...as Charlie tends to be shy...and the Gymnasium was filled with onlookers. Click on Basketball player to see Charlie with medal!
Gordon A. Groebe died November 23, 2009 in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Gordon was the father of Alexis, Bill, Gordon, Kimberly, David, Gaynelle, John, Chuck, Duncan, Verily, and Melody. His wife Ginger was at his side for love and comfort throughout the hospital stay. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life with family members at Blake and Lamb Funeral Home at 103rd and Cicero on Friday, November 27. The funeral service will be Saturday, November 28th. Contact Blake and Lamb Funeral Home for more information.

Mark and Dottie Hayden welcomed a new grand-daughter into the world on November 14, 2009. She was 8lb 11oz. and 20.5 inches tall. Addisen Marie Person, was born to parents Amanda and Derek Person in Manassas, Virginia. Congratulations to all including big brothers Cristian and Bryce.
Matthew McVicker Groebe has done it again! He shot his second hole-in-one on October 18, 2009 at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club on the 11th hole. With a net score of 86 he beat his Dad who shot 102. Click on green for picture
